Containers must be placed at the curb or alley by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled collection day (you may roll it out the night before), and collection can be any time between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Containers must face the street or alley and must be five feet from cars, buildings, or other obstacles. Special arrangements can be provided for residents who are physically unable to place carts out for collections.
Commercial collections are Monday through Saturday and can begin as early as 5:00 a.m. Please call 360-417-4876 for rates. Commercial rates include cardboard recycling.
Materials that are not accepted in garbage containers include:

- Yard waste (see yard waste page for disposal information)
A container with unacceptable materials will not be emptied. Any garbage outside the container will not be collected. Your container lid must close completely, otherwise it will be considered overloaded and additional charges may apply. Additional charges may also occur for repeatedly overloaded containers.
Large items such as mattresses and sofas must be hauled by the resident to the Regional Transfer Station.
