The City recently became aware of information circulating that the City will be writing off past due utility bill balances that are the result of the COVID-19 crisis. To clarify the City is not able to write off past due balances, but what the City can do is:
- waive interest accrued on late utility payments
- place you on a payment plan
- determine if you are eligible for the City’s low-income discount program
- waive all Parking Business Improvement Area (PBIA) fees for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters of 2020
In order to be placed on a payment plan, you must email Customer Service at utilities@cityofpa.us, or call 360-457-0411.
