Project Overview
The City of Port Angeles continues work on the 16th Street Stormwater Retrofit Project. Crews are installing three biofilters and one CDS® Hydrodynamic Separator on 16th Street, at the “C,” D,” and “E” Street intersections. These stormwater upgrades will help remove pollutants, including total suspended solids, dissolved copper, dissolved zinc and total phosphorus, from stormwater runoff before connecting into Tumwater Creek.
What residents can expect today, December 12:
On Friday, December 12, residents can expect a temporary closure of South E Street (located between the 15th Street and 16th Street intersections). This section of South E Street will be closed to traffic through 5:00 p.m. See traffic plan map.
