The State of the City address offers a unique opportunity for residents, businesses and stakeholders to learn about the City's progress and plans. In the 2026 State of the City, City Manager Nathan A. West shares the top challenges we face as a City, highlights key achievements from 2025, and discusses some of the exciting things to look forward to in the year ahead.

Get Involved

Everyone plays a role in the progress of our community and there's so many ways to participate. Here's just a few ways you can get involved: 

  • Clallam County Job Fair: Discover employment resources and volunteer opportunities on Wednesday, March 18, at the Vern Burton Community Center. 
  • Big Spring Spruce Up: Participate in the 5th annual community spruce up event on Saturday, May 2.  
  • Serve on a City Advisory Group: From beautification programs to public safety services, these advisory groups offer an opportunity for dedicated individuals to weigh in on a range of important issues.
