[ARCHIVED] Special Meeting Notice - Port Angeles City Council Meeting

Special Meeting Notice

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Port Angeles will hold a virtual special meeting on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, starting at 5:00 p.m.  The purpose of the special meeting will be for Council to hold a closed Executive Session, under authority of RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) to discuss potential litigation with legal counsel. Listening and webcast options for the open sessions will be available at:  

The regular virtual City Council meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.

At the open meeting, the Council will discuss a Resolution in favor of the Port Angeles School District Levy. Council will offer members of the public equal opportunity to express views for and against the District’s Levy.  Council will consider all views expressed; and if Council chooses, they may formally take action from supporting the District’s Levy, to adopting a motion declaring support or adopting the Resolution. The Resolution is a part of the City Council packet which can be viewed here: 

 Written public comment can be submitted to: , comments will not be read aloud but will be made a part of the record.  

As an alternative, you may provide your comments to the City Council by leaving a recorded message prior to the meeting.  To do that, please call 360-417-4504 before 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Recorded messages will be provided to Council and will be made a part of the record.
