[ARCHIVED] Precautionary Boil Water Notice - East of Golf Course Rd

Newsflash Boil Water Advisory

UPDATE - 07/01/20 WATER MAIN REPAIR NOTICE

The necessary water repairs for the approximately 40 homes east of Golf Course Road to Mount Pleasant Road will occur on Thursday, July 2nd from 7AM to 7PM. Those homes will be without water for the duration of the repair. Informational door hanger notices were placed this morning.

Following the repairs, the homes will have water but the precautionary boil water notice will still be in effect. Once satisfactory water test results are received, the City will contact homes to let them know that the boil water notice has been lifted.

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

Due to a needed water main repair, approximately 40 homes east of Golf Course Road to Mount Pleasant Road have a precautionary boil water notice and have informational door hanger notices placed at their homes.

Repairs are expected in the next 3 days, at which time the affected homes will have low to no water pressure. Homes will be notified 24 hours prior to the repair.

Once satisfactory results are received, the City will contact homes requiring the boil water notice to let them know that it has been lifted.

Please note: If your water was not shut off or you have not experienced low water pressure on June 28th, you are not impacted by this notice and you do not need to boil your water.
