The April 7, 2020 City Council meeting is being conducted under the criteria of Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28, which temporarily changes the rules under the Open Public Meetings Act. This Proclamation is responsible for two notable changes in the way the April 7th meeting will be conducted.
First, the Proclamation limits the subject matter that may be considered at the meeting. As a result, the agenda for this meeting will present fewer items for City Council action. Please follow the link below to view the agenda: https://www.cityofpa.us/DocumentCenter/View/7609/04072020-Agenda
Second, the proclamation temporarily suspends the requirement that the City provide a physical location and prohibits the attendance of meetings in-person. Each City Council member, staff members, and members of the public may participate in the meeting from separate locations via conference call or by webcast. Listening and webcast options will be available at: www.cityofpa.us
An opportunity for verbal public comment will not be available. Written public comment can be submitted to: cityclerk@cityofpa.us by 2:00 pm. Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
Due to the Governors Stay Home, Stay Safe proclamation and Public Meetings Act Proclamation, the City of Port Angeles Council Meeting will take place as regularly scheduled, beginning at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, in a virtual event space that can be accessed via your computer, tablet, or phone.
