[ARCHIVED] Nighttime Paving Work ¦ Lauridsen Boulevard Overlay Project

Lauridsen Project Night Work

In an effort to minimize adverse impact to traffic flow and increase overall project safety, the City will perform night work on Lauridsen Blvd. Night work will begin September 3rd and go through Monday September 9th. During this time, the contractor will perform asphalt removal and re-paving work from 7:00 pm - 6:00 am. No work is scheduled for Saturday, September 7th or Sunday, September 8th.

Residences along Lauridsen Blvd. should expect noise disturbances while asphalt removal and re-paving is underway near their property. Once the work moves further down the road, trucks will be moving through as material is removed and delivered to the site. Additionally, the work area is required to be well lit for performance and safety.

During this work, traffic through the project boundary along Lauridsen will be significantly restricted. Barricades will limit traffic to one lane and one direction only. Detour signs will be posted directing traffic around the project. Residents with property directly adjoining the Boulevard will be able to access their property, however, on-street parking will be temporarily eliminated.

Thank you for your on-going patience and for partnering with us to accomplish this important project. More information and weekly updates can be found on the City’s project webpage: https://www.cityofpa.us/924/Lauridsen-Blvd-Overlay-Project.
