[ARCHIVED] Sewer Repair on 8th & Lincoln

Road Work

Starting the evening of August 6th, the City will be performing a repair on a 100 year old sewer main buried under Lincoln Street. Crews will access the manhole in the intersection of 8th and Lincoln. To minimize traffic related issues, this work will be performed overnight on August 6th and 7th starting at 8:30pm and concluding by 7:00am on both days. We will patch the sewer main without excavating the roadway by using a trenchless liner system.

This repair is part of the City’s broader initiative to reduce the risk of costly sewer main breaks by rehabbing aging sewer infrastructure using cost effective, trenchless technologies.
