Please be aware of upcoming park and facility closures this week as maintenance and improvement projects are completed:
November 4-7, 2025: 9/11 Memorial Waterfront Park Vehicle Access
To facilitate Neighborhood Sewer Rehabilitation work, the vehicle entrance to 9/11 Memorial Waterfront Park will be closed tomorrow, November 4, from 10:00 a.m. to dusk. For the remainder of this week, the entrance will be closed daily from dawn to dusk.
The park will remain open during regular hours, but the parking lot will not be accessible while the vehicle entrance is closed.
November 5-9, 2025: Erickson Playfield Pump Track Closure
The Port Angeles Pump Track will be closed November 5-9 while American Ramp Company, the installer of the pump track, applies a seal coating to the pavement. This important maintenance must be completed before the first winter freeze. The track will remain closed throughout the week to allow the coating to be applied and properly cured. We extend our sincere thanks to Lincoln Park BMX, our community partner who spearheaded the developed of the pump track and has continued to support the upkeep of this facility since its initial build.
