Signal Controller Upgrade Project (TR0120)
Effective February 11-12, 2025
A portion of N. Laurel Street, located between 1st Street and Front Street, will close to traffic to allow for excavation and the installation of a stormwater catch basin (see map below). Working hours will be 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Please note that this work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled or extended.
Traffic and Parking Impacts:
- Thru traffic will not be permitted during these times.
- However, local traffic will be permitted to travel south on N. Laurel Street from the alleyway.
- Pedestrian access will remain available; flaggers will be onsite to assist.
- The public parking lot on N. Laurel Street will remain accessible.
- On-street parking will remain available on the south end of N. Laurel Street (see map below).
Utility Pole Replacement
Effective February 13, 2025
Crews will close the northbound lane of Mt. Angeles Road from approximately 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for utility pole replacement.
Traffic and Parking Impacts:
- Drivers will see one-way alternating traffic with flaggers onsite.
- Pedestrian/multimodal access will not be affected.
As with all projects, please take caution when driving or walking near the work area. Be on the alert and follow directions provided by traffic control personnel and signage.
