November 20, 9:50 AM Update

Power has been 100% restored as of this morning. If you experience a new power outage or come across fallen trees, branches in wires, or downed power lines, please contact the Public Works & Utilities Department at 360-417-4726. Do not attempt to remove fallen trees from power lines or approach downed lines. 

We thank our crews for their efforts throughout the evening and we thank you, our customers, for your patience! 

November 19, 8:30 PM Update

The feeder breaker that had 120 utility customers without power has been re-energized, and power has been restored to those customers.  At this time, approximately 20 utility customers remain without power. We appreciate your continued patience.

November 19, 6:45 PM Update

Two fallen trees were reported to have taken down power lines near the intersection of Hill Street and Marine Drive. Crews on responding; please take caution. 

At this time, approximately 120 City of Port Angeles utility customers are without power. City Light Operations continues to work on restoration efforts. To report a power outage, please contact the Public Works & Utilities Department at 360-417-4726. 

Original News Flash, Posted November 19, 5:15 PM 

High winds on Tuesday, November 19, have caused multiple power outages in east Port Angeles, resulting in utility customers being without power intermittently. City Light Operations has been dispatched and is actively restoring power in impacted areas.

Please Note: A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Port Angeles through Wednesday, November 20, at 4 a.m. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and additional power outages may result. 

Report An Outage or Issue

Do not attempt to remove fallen trees from power lines or approach downed lines. Please contact the Public Works & Utilities Department at 360-417-4726 to report a new power outage, fallen trees, branches in wires, downed power lines, lines sparking, or additional information that may be helpful in pinpointing areas of outages.
