The City of Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a donation of a 30- to 35-foot-tall fir tree for the downtown holiday tree lighting. The tree, which must be accessible by vehicle and located within the city limits of Port Angeles, is needed no later than mid-November. Donors will receive special recognition for helping with the annual tradition.
Each year, the City of Port Angeles receives a donated tree, which is placed at the Conrad Dyar Memorial Foundation located at First & Laurel Streets. The annual tree lighting event takes place the weekend following Thanksgiving. This year's tree lighting is scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2024.
