It’s time to grab your paddles and head to the courts! The City Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the completion of the pickleball court renovation at Elks Playfield. This upgrade included asphalt repairs on the two center courts and a full resurfacing of all six courts, ensuring a high-quality experience for all pickleball players.
This project was made possible by a generous $30,000 donation from a private citizen. The City of Port Angeles contributed the remaining funds, for a total project cost of $$43,015.50. All renovation work was completed by Rainbow Sweepers, Inc. of Port Angeles.
The newly renovated courts are now open and ready for action. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, we encourage all residents to come out and enjoy these refreshed facilities.
