The City of Port Angeles will implement a traffic revision plan on E Front Street (US 101 Westbound) beginning 6 a.m. on Monday, August 21st.
The plan, which is set to be in place for up to one week, will include a 300-foot closure of the southernmost lane, located east of S Lincoln Street. Traffic will be channeled into the northernmost lane for 300 feet and return to two lanes at the intersection of E Front Street and S Lincoln Street.
This measure is being taken to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians while building demolition work occurs at 204 E Front Street. The lane will fully reopen once it has been determined safe to do so.
During the closure, travelers are encouraged to plan accordingly to avoid potential delays. Please take caution when traveling near the demolition area. Drive slowly, be on the alert, and follow directions provided by traffic control signage.
