[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing of the Port Angeles City Council

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Port Angeles will hold a Public Hearing at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., or soon thereafter. This meeting will be conducted as a hybrid meeting.  In hybrid meetings, members of the public, Council members, and City staff have the option to attend the meeting in person in the Council chambers at City Hall, located at 321 East 5th Street in Port Angeles, or remotely via telephone or video link.  

For those attending remotely, learn how to participate during public comment and or watch the meeting live by visiting: https://www.cityofpa.us/984/Live-Virtual-Meetings.   Listening and webcast options will be available at www.cityofpa.us.

The purpose of the meeting is for City Council to receive public comment on the use of Opioid Settlement Funds. Depending on the outcome of the hearing, Council may, during its July 18, 2023, meeting, announce the opening of the application period.  If so, applications will be available for download from the City's website at www.cityofpa.us  and will need to be submitted via an email to the City Clerk sent to cityclerk@cityofpa.us or received at City Hall attention City Clerk at 321 East 5th Street no later than the deadline set by Council.  

To provide pre-recorded messages to the City Council by phone, please call 360-417-4504. Messages received will be made a part of the final record. Comments should be received by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
