On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, water was restored to the homes impacted by a water outage in the Monroe Road area of Port Angeles. A localized precautionary boil water notice was issued, and door hangers placed at the impacted homes.
Approximately 35 homes were impacted.
The precautionary boil water notice is now lifted; satisfactory water sample results warranted lifting the notice for the Monroe Road area of Port Angeles. The water is safe to drink and use. City Water crews will be placing hanging door hangers at the impacted homes.
The precautionary boil water notice was issued out of an abundance of caution to the homes impacted by the water main break. Samples taken in the area were tested and it has been verified that the water is safe to drink.
Thank you for your patience.
