City Manager Nathan West has rescinded the Stage III Water Shortage Declaration, effectively immediately. All restrictions as set out in the City’s Water Shortage Response Plan have been lifted.
A review of current water levels and short and long-term forecasted weather conditions by staff indicate that water shortage restrictions are no longer necessary. During the November 1, 2022, City Council meeting, Manager West reported that Elwha River water levels, currently at 932 CFS, are consistently improving.
We thank citizens for understanding the need to conserve and for taking the necessary steps to reduce water use.
