On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, water was restored to the homes in the Golf Course road and east to Mt Pleasant Road area of Port Angeles. A localized precautionary boil water notice was issued for the homes impacted by the water main break and door hangers were placed at those homes.
This impacted approximately 170 homes, 2 assisted living complexes and 1 memory care facility.
The precautionary boil water notice is now lifted; satisfactory water sample results warranted lifting the notice for the Golf Course Road and east to Mt. Pleasant Road area of Port Angeles. The water is safe to drink and use. City Water crews will be hanging door hangers at the impacted homes.
The precautionary boil water notice was issued out of an abundance of caution to the homes impacted by the water main break. Samples taken in the area were tested and it has been verified that the water is safe to drink. Thank you for your patience.
