[ARCHIVED] Summer is here and it's time to do some much-needed roadwork!

Paving Project to begin soon

The City’s Golf Course Paving Project is scheduled from Thursday, July 16th to Friday July 23rd

Where: Golf Course Road from East 1st Street to East 5th Street

When: July 16th – Traffic signs and road preparation work will begin

  • Golf Course Road will remain open to traffic with flagging control during the road preparation

Monday July 19th through Friday July 23rd - Golf Course Road will be closed from East 1st Street to East 5th Streets during roadway removal, subgrade preparation, repaving and re-striping.

Expect delays, detours will be in place for local traffic.

Please note that as with all projects, dates may change, and work may be extended depending on weather, progress and conditions.

Our goal is to complete the project with as little inconvenience as possible while keeping safety of the public, pedestrians and motorists a top priority.  Please use designated detour routes and watch for trucks entering and leaving the work areas.  Please remember, when you see our work crews, slow down for safety.

Thank you for your continued patience during our road repair efforts.
