The City of Port Angeles is accepting applications to fill a
vacancy on the Utility Advisory Committee
(1 Community Representative Needed) The Utility AdvisoryCommittee gives advisory recommendations to the City Council on matters
relating to City utility policy and operation. Members are appointed tofour-year terms, with a limit of two consecutive terms. The Committee
members include five citizen members selected and appointed in accordance with Chapter 2.25.One of these members represents the industrial customers of the City's
utilities; the second member represents the licensed care facilities in theCity; and three members represent all other customers of the City's utilities.
For purposes of this chapter, "industrial customers" means thosecustomers who are served under the City's industrial transmission electric rate
classification. For purposes of this chapter, "licensed carefacilities" includes adult family homes, boarding homes/assisted living
facilities, and nursing homes. The representative of the licensed carefacilities shall vote only on issues concerning fees authorized by Part C of
PAMC 13.73.300. The Utility Advisory Committee meets the second Tuesday of every other month, at 3:00 p.m.
