Residents are encouraged to attend the Parks, Recreation & Facilities Commission meeting on February 19 to learn more about the Laurel Street Stair Replacement Project and offer input on conceptual designs.
During the meeting, City staff and RDW Landscape Architects will present a brief history of the project and introduce two conceptual design options. Following the presentation, community members will be invited to participate in an onsite activity to share feedback on those designs.
Not able to attend on Thursday evening?
Community input is an important part of this project, and all residents are encouraged to participate. If you are unable to attend the Parks, Recreation & Facilities Commission meeting, you can watch the recorded presentation online and then submit your feedback through an online survey. The survey will be available on the City’s website (www.cityofpa.us) for a two-week period starting Monday, February 23.
All feedback received will be shared with the Commission for review before the next meeting on March 19. On that day, the Commission is expected to select one design for recommendation to the City Council.
Once the design is approved and finalized, City staff will pursue grant funding for construction.
