On December 17, 2024 City Council adopted ordinance No.3743 which repealed and amended several chapters within the PAMC for Advisory Boards, Committees, and Commissions. With this ordinance, the previous summer hiatus for the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Commission was eradicated. However, section 2.32.040 (pg.16) of the code exemplifies a meeting can be canceled in the month of August if no substantive agenda is present. The Parks, Recreation and Facilities Commission will not host their monthly regular meeting in August, 2025. However, the regular meeting schedule will resume Thursday, September 18, 2025.
