Application Information

• Applicant: McKinley Paper Mill
• Proposal: The City of Port Angeles received a SEPA Checklist associated with a shoreline permitting exemption request to demolish and dispose of and existing crane tower and fixed pier at the McKinley Paper Mill Site,  zone IH, Industrial Heavy. The crane tower will consist of the removal and disposal of 22 freestanding pilings, existing “stiff leg” pier bracing, stringer and roughly 30 creosote piling. The fixed pier will consist of the removal and disposal of existing 38’ x 100’ creosote pier, including roughly 58 creosote treated wood piling, pile caps, stringers, and decking.
