On Thursday, June 5, the City of Port Angeles will perform water utility maintenance and asphalt repairs on Lauridsen Boulevard, located east of the Lauridsen/South L Street Intersection.
Work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, a portion of Lauridsen Boulevard will be closed to traffic (see map below). A detour route will be in place:
- Vehicles traveling eastbound on Lauridsen Boulevard will detour via South L Street.
- Vehicles traveling westbound on Lauridsen Boulevard will detour via South C St.
The entrance to Lincoln Park will remain open, however access to the Dog Park from Lauridsen Boulevard will be temporarily unavailable.
Please be careful when traveling near the work zone. Drive slowly, be on the alert, and follow directions provided by traffic control personnel and signage.
