[ARCHIVED] City to Host Information Session for Mobile and Itinerant Vendors, March 11

Join us for an information session on Tuesday, March 11, where staff will introduce the City’s new Mobile and Itinerant Vendor Program. This session is a valuable opportunity for current or aspiring mobile and itinerant vendors, including food trucks, pop-up vendors, event hosts, and businesses and private property owners interested in hosting vendors onsite, to learn about the City’s new regulations and permit application process.

Topics to be covered include: 

  • How to navigate the new code and key regulatory changes 
  • An explanation of the different types of permits available for vendors and hosts
  • Step-by-step guidance on how to apply for a permit, including all necessary submission requirements
  • Answers to frequently asked questions
  • Open Q&A session to address any specific concerns or clarifications 

For those unable to attend, a recording of the presentation will be made available on the City's website at a later date.

New regulations were adopted by the Port Angeles City Council on February 4, 2024, following months of public input and code development. The goal of this code update was to establish clear regulations and streamlined permitting processes in order to better support economic growth and a more business-friendly environment.
