Traffic marking placement is scheduled to begin this morning, October 2, at the following locations:
- 8th Street, between the 8th Street Bridge and South I Street
- South I Street, between West 4th Street and West 16th Street
Pavement marking placement, which includes the installation of centerlines, crosswalks, arrows, and more, follows chip seal maintenance from earlier this fall. This work is expected to be complete by Thursday, October 3 (weather dependent).
All lanes of traffic will remain open; impacts to traffic are expected to be minimal. Please be careful when traveling through or near the work areas. Residents should drive slowly, be on the alert, and follow directions given by Traffic Control personnel and signage.
