The City of Port Angeles has a variety of advisory boards, commissions, and committees. From beautification programs to public safety services, these advisory groups offer an opportunity for dedicated individuals to weigh in on a range of important issues. Members of City advisory groups are appointed by City Council and volunteer their time to serve and strengthen the Port Angeles community.
Each advisory group is unique in its number of members, roles, duties and term lengths. Terms of office vary between one and six years in length. Most terms of office begin on March 1st in the year in which the appointment is made and conclude on the last day of February in the year when the appointment expires. For example: A four-year term to begin on March 1, 2025, will expire on February 28, 2029.
