The deadline for Short-Term Lodging Business License Applications is quickly approaching. The application window opened on July 1, 2024, and remains open through August 1, 2024. To ensure that your application is reviewed, please submit it along with all required documentation by August 1, 2024. This deadline applies to all license types (Type I Short-Term Rental, Type II Short-Term Rental, and Bed-and-Breakfast). Any application submitted after this date will be placed on a waitlist for review and licensing.
Next Steps
Following the submittal of your application, the City will perform a completeness review. Applications will be notified of any missing or incomplete items. Missing items must be submitted and reviewed by the City by September 15. After this date, incomplete applications will be placed on a waitlist.
Code Enforcement
The City of Port Angeles is working closely with short-term lodging platforms to collect and verify data on all listings within city limits. Please be aware that any listings not in compliance with City regulations may be issued citation(s) and/or notice of violation and order to cease, including civil penalties.
