This project also includes replacing existing sidewalk curb ramps to ensure ADA compliance. This work is now complete.
Pavement milling on Marine Drive is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 1, and continue through Wednesday, July 3. Asphalt paving will begin Monday, July 8, and continue through Wednesday, July 10.
Construction Impacts
Typical project working hours will be 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. While we do our best to minimize impacts during construction, some temporary inconveniences may occur as work takes place. During construction, residents and visitors should expect:
- One-way traffic on Marine Drive during working hours
- Minor traffic delays and increased commute times
- Installation of temporary traffic signs, message boards, and other safety equipment
Please be careful when traveling through or near the construction area. Travelers should drive slowly, be on the alert, and follow directions given by Traffic Control personnel.
