[ARCHIVED] Take Advantage of Free Conservation Devices and Rebate Opportunities

Conservation Rebates

Did you know the City of Port Angeles offers conservation rebates and incentives for both residential and commercial properties? These incentives help you save money, reduce water and energy usage, and ensure a greener future for our community.  

Conservation is the most cost-effective way to meet our future needs. By saving water and energy, you can lower your utility bills, create more comfortable living and workspaces, and protect our beautiful environment. 

Conservation Incentive for Your Home 

Small changes can make a big difference in your monthly utility costs. In cooperation with the Bonneville Power Administration, the City currently offers rebates for: 

  • Heat Pump Upgrades 
  • Heat Pump Water Heaters 
  • Increased Insulation 
  • Window Replacement 
  • Water Conservation Devices, such as rain barrels, irrigation timers, and high efficiency toilets  

The City also offers energy and water saving devices to residents completely free of charge, including:  

  • Electrical outlet and switch plate gaskets  
  • Faucet Aerators  
  • Showerheads 
  • Toilet Tummies

Conservation Incentives for Your Business     

The City also offers a number of cost-cutting incentives for commercial and industrial properties, including rebates for qualified improvements to: 

  • Commercial and industrial Lighting   
  • HVAC System Improvements  
  • Industrial Process Improvements 

Free Weatherization Low-Income Program  

Through the Free Weatherization Low-Income Program, the City offers increased incentives for qualifying homeowners and renters in City limits. This program offers free or reduced costs on upgrades to windows, insulation, ductless heat pumps, and heat pump water heaters.
