[ARCHIVED] AMENDED NOTICE of SPECIAL MEETINGS

Special Meeting Notice

Notice is hereby given that the City’s Boards, Committees, and Commissions will hold special meetings on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, starting at 6:00 p.m., at City Hall located at 321 East 5th Street in Port Angeles.  

From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the following City advisory boards will hold special meetings:

  • AMENDED TO INCLUDE - Lodging Tax Advisory Committee 
  • Port Angeles Parks, Recreation & Beautification Committee 
  • Port Angeles Planning Commission 
  • Port Angeles Public Safety Advisory Board
  • Port Angeles Utility Advisory Committee
  • Port Angeles Civil Service Commission

Together, the City’s Boards, Committees, and Commissions will meet to receive their yearly Public Records Act Annual Training. This meeting will be conducted as a hybrid meeting. In hybrid meetings, members of the public, Council members, members of the City’s Boards, Committees, and Commissions, and City staff have the option to attend the meeting in person, in Council chambers at City Hall located at 321 East 5th Street, Port Angeles, or remotely via telephone or video link. This meeting is open to the public.   In-person attendance is highly encouraged. 

 

The agenda includes:

I. Public Records Act Annual Training

  • A presentation on the Open Public Meetings Act, Public Records Act, Roles and Responsibilities, and Ethics for Elected and Appointed Officials.
