The Lincoln Street corridor is a key transportation route for the City of Port Angeles, and one of the City’s most active arterials. The City is beginning the preliminary design phase for the Lincoln Street Safety Project. The project area extends along Lincoln Street between 1st Street and 8th Street. The focus of this proposed project is to improve traffic and pedestrian safety.
The City held a public meeting on Wednesday October 10th at the Vern Burton Meeting Room for all in the community to learn more about the project. The meeting was an open house style forum where residents, businesses, and interested stakeholders were invited to talk with city staff and the project team about design alternatives, as well as share their thoughts and provide feedback on the project.
