Watering the Flower Baskets at the Vern Burton Memorial Community CenterOur responsibility is to provide the City of Port Angeles with electricity, water, wastewater treatment, stormwater and solid waste services - as well as maintaining city streets, and sidewalks.

We also provide citywide engineering support, power management and servicing of the city's vehicle fleet.

A variety of programs are also available to help conserve energy and make paying bills easier to manage.

PUBLIC WORKS CREW RECEIVES RAVE

Crews work to restore water after water line breaks"Huge Raves to the Port Angeles Water Department for the services they performed on a main water line break directly across from Crestwood Convalescent Center on January 15.

These tireless wokers endured bleak weather conditions and worked in the dark to make sure that water was restored. Your response time and professionalism was appreciated."


Work Party Cleans Up Erickson Park After Windstorm
On December 23, 2006 a work party between the Rotary, Kiwanis and Dream Playground Foundation drew about 25 people who picked up branches and also cleaned the entire tennis court area.

Parks Maintenance Staff followed a few days later to pick up the piles of debris.
