Fiber City logo To enhance local economic development, a business plan for fiber optics deployment was established by the City of Port Angeles to bring advanced broadband services to the community at below-market prices.

Delivering on that plan required an innovative collaboration between business and local government resulting in pricing at about 1/10th of typical charges.

Global ethernetThe City of Port Angeles is rapidly becoming known as "Fiber City", a technology hub that increases the value of existing businesses, creates a home for telecommuters and teleworkers, and attracts companies for relocation.

Port Angeles already has four times more fiber optic cable per square mile than Tacoma's CLICK! Network and connecting Port Angeles and Sequim businesses and home offices to each other and the world at the speed of light.

Five Access Sites Within Port Angeles
The MV Coho Ferry, the Port Angeles Boat Haven, William R. Fairchild International Airport, Clallam County Fairgrounds and the Vern Burton Memorial Community Center are places where the service can be activated.
