BUSINESS LICENSE REQUIREMENTS / INSTRUCTIONS
Not all businesses are required to have a business license from the City. The types of businesses requiring a City license are listed below. Click on the name to download the application packet.

Applications packets include details about each specific type of license, instructions, and application form. Choose from list below.

STARTING A BRAND-NEW BUSINESS IN ONE OF THESE CATEGORIES? If so, you must register with the State of Washington Department of Revenue first then apply for your City business license.

FEES
In most instances, the annual fee for a business license is $25.00. The license year is July 1 through June 30. See application form for prorated fee schedule.

HOW TO APPLY
Download (or pick up from City Clerk's Office) the application packet. Complete entire form, and return with fee to the City Clerk's Office. Fee is due in full at time of application. Most licenses are issued in 3 to 5 working days.
