Ordinance Violations
The following table lists the most frequently charged criminal violations, their designation under the Revised Code of Washington, and a brief description of each offense:

  • DUI (Gross Misdemeanor) RCW 46.61.502
    Drove motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • DWLS III (Misdemeanor) RCW 46.20.342(1)(c)
    Drove motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended and eligible for reinstatement

  • Resisting (Misdemeanor) RCW 9A.76.040
    Intentionally prevented/attempted to prevent Peace officer from lawfully arresting

  • MIP (Minor in Possession) 1st - Misdemeanor RCW 66.44.270
    Under 21 years of age acquired/possessed/consumed liquor

  • Assault IV (Gross Misdemeanor) RCW 9A.36.041
    Intentionally committed non-consensual touching or placed another in fear of bodily harm

  • Malicious Mischief III (Specify Damage Value) RCW 9A.48.090
    Knowingly and maliciously caused physical damage to another's property

  • PSP III (Possession of Stolen Property) RCW 9A.56.170
    (Gross Misdemeanor) Up to $250.00 value
    Knowingly possessed stolen property knowing it was stolen and with intent to deprive rightful owner

  • Theft III (Gross Misdemeanor) RCW 9A.56.050
    With intent to deprive, wrongfully obtained or exerted unauthorized control over the property/services of another up to $250.00. Over $250.00 is a felony

  • Violation NCO (No Contact Order) (Misdemeanor) RCW 10.99.050
    Willfully violated no contact order/conditions of release prohibiting contact in pre-conviction domestic violence case where order contained warning of criminal sanctions

  • Violation NCO post-conviction (Gross Misdemeanor) RCW 10.99.050
    Willfully violated a court order restricting contact with victim where order contained warning of criminal sanctions
